Maniland Glamour Phil–UK (MG) is a non-profit initiative founded on October 13, 2012, by Mrs. Lydia Sumang. The name “Maniland Glamour” was inspired by the connection between Manila, Philippines, and England, United Kingdom—representing more than just two places, but two worlds brought together through unity, sacrifice, culture, and the shared strength of Filipino communities abroad.

From the very beginning, Maniland Glamour Phil–UK was never just about events. It was born from a simple but powerful belief—that women, when brought together with purpose and compassion, can uplift not only each other but also entire communities. What started as a small initiative has grown into something deeper: a family built through shared journeys, struggles, and dreams.

Since its founding, Maniland Glamour Phil–UK has been dedicated to women empowerment, giving women a space where they can slowly find their confidence again, rediscover their worth, and build meaningful connections. Every lady who has joined as a candidate from 2012 to 2025 is not just a participant, but a valued member of a growing sisterhood—one built on respect, support, and genuine care for one another.
